Jana was a great person and staff to work with. She always kept me in the know about my offenders that she was working with. She was a team player. I was able to attend a training on self-care and boundaries presented by Jana last fall. A short time into the presentation I found myself becoming angry and really identifying with the burnout symptoms that Jana was describing. I spoke with Jana on the break and she was so extremely supportive, asking questions that really got me thinking about my career and the family time I was missing out on while weaving in the idea that even Jesus needed time away to reflect and rest. It was really Jana's presentation that led me down a road of intentionally slowing down and eventually quitting my career in upper management and returning to the type of work that was truly satisfying to me. Jana is a wonderfully personable presenter whose warmth and kindness is truly appreciated.
