Since 2016 Jana Fischer has owned and still operates today, Fischer Reentry Consulting, LLC; specializing in reentry, facilitation and training.  Jana has a B.A. in Organizational Management and Communication from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.  Jana enjoys working with people from all walks of life, helping them to discover their full potential; while learning tools and skills to enhance their day-to-day lives.  For two years now Jana has been serving community reentry organizations who work extensively with those who have just been released from prison, reentering from treatment centers, shelters or homelessness, helping them to become employed by utilizing curriculum that Jana developed, which is titled; Employment Readiness.  Jana also delivers several other workshops on life skills; as outlined on the Services and Products page of this site.

In 2015, Jana Fischer served as Stepping Ahead's Program Director of Reentry Services, developing a program with the philosophy that people can change; when people are taught, given hope and are encouraged to practice living a healthier lifestyle!  Jana served for four years on the Board of Directors for Stepping Stones Ministries, helping to build programming and educate volunteers; helping women released from incarceration.

Since 2009, Jana Fischer has professionally, served as the Program Manager of Prison Fellowship's InnerChange Freedom Initiative (IFI) program at the Women's Correctional Facility in Shakopee, MN until 2014.  Jana worked one on one and in group settings to help prepare women for reentry into society, family and their local communities.  Jana coached, facilitated life skills courses, counseled and built reentry plans that were individual and specific to each woman's needs. 

Jana stays involved in local community outreach opportunities; partners with Southern Valley Alliance Battered Women, on local community committees as well as mentoring youth and leading groups!
